Jessie pagan
Head Brewer
With over a decade of professional brewing experience, Jessie started his journey with Star Republic in the Summer of 2023, building the beer program from scratch. His favorite style of beer to drink is Pale Ale, and his favorite SRB brew is Trail Hazer Hazy Pale Ale. His least favorite style to drink is smoked beer, but he respects the style.
He attributes his successes to his brewing mentor Marc, the endless hours dedicated to honing his craft, his OG brew staff, and his fiancée, Rhiannon, and son, Forrest-Wayne, who are his inspiration.
His biggest piece of advice for young brewers looking for success are to stay humble and be willing to suck at things at first.

Bolten Leafa
Assistant Brewer
The righthand man, the second-in-command, the arbiter of ales, the hammer himself, Bolten is by far one of the most vital components of what makes our brewery run as smoothly as it does. His ability to pick up new concepts is unrivaled and his attention to detail is unparalleled.
Self-motivated and hungry for success, no one comes close to bringing the amount of ambition Bolten carries into the brewery on a daily basis. You’d better watch out, because he will be a major name in brewing before you know it.
Bolten’s favorite customers are always the ones with four paws, as he has a soft spot for the brewery hounds that roll through now and again. His favorite SRB concoction is Devilish Critters.
Seth Pennington
Cellarman
Ask anyone around and they’ll tell you “Uncle Seth” is the go-to guy when you need to put a smile on your face. When he’s not helping out on the canning line, he’s taking readings in the cellar, transferring beer, cleaning tanks, helping with brewdays, and doing whatever needs to be done in the brewery.
Seth is a self-proclaimed nerd for Lord of the Rings and Magic the Gathering, and he’s always down for a game of cornhole or pool. His niche skill is being able to identify damn-near any beat off of any track (seriously, test him on this; it’s crazy). His favorite beer in our lineup is Trail Hazer Hazy Pale Ale, which he helped brew and name! You can usually catch him yapping with Joe or just about anyone who pops in the brewery!
Daniel rivera
Packaging Technician
The newest addition to the Star Republic Brewing Team is Daniel. Not a single keg, can, or bottle goes through the brewery doors unless our Packaging Czar approves it. His commitment to quality ensures that every drop of product is up to our standards. He may be new to brewing, but his mechanical skillset makes him one of the most valuable assets to the team. We’re looking forward to big things from Mr. Rivera!
